I want to have a band. I am looking for musicians. I am a guitarist that plays rhythm and lead guitar. But I am not one of the "dime per dozen" guitarists. I did try to use the piano some but I also know how to do some recording and studio work.
You can hear that in my recordings that I made.
The two newest are Entering the outerworld and 3-22-2004.
So far, Tranquility only has guitar in it and I did that entire song myself so it shows what I can do. I wrote the song, played everything on it, and did all of the recording tasks for it. It took me a day or so to try to emulate 3-D audio without using 3-D audio equipment. I didn't have any.
That is why Tranquility has that depth sound to it, it's in how I did the effects. I am looking for musicians because I can't do everything that I want by myself. I want musicians to develop music with. I want another guitarist, a good one too.
I want a bass player, possibly a person to play cello, drums, and keyboard. Sorry vocalists, learn an instrument, then I might accept you. I don't do only one thing, I do two types of guitar and I also do audio production, so I try to pull my weight. But I also do computer repair and art.
The guitarists has to be good. 4 years minimum experience is the requirment because I need someone that is very familiar with the instrument. I have been playing for 9 years since Febuary 1995 and I need someone that can keep up with that. If you don't have 4 or more years experience with the guitar, then take a hike and come back later when you can do what I need done.
I will not tolerate trash music! If you try to be like Nickleback, Limp bizkit, Offspring, Blink182, R.E.M., METALLICA, or anyone else that has contributed to the degeneration of guitar made music, fear my wrath!
You have to know how to play. I play ORIGINAL music, that means that I author my music myself. I am looking to make music and play the music that I make, not play everyone else's stuff. Sometimes maybe a song here or there that I might play of someone else, but I focus on making my own. I really want to orchistrate my music.
OK, bass players, you need to have no less than a 2 year minimum with a recommended experience level of 6 years and you have to be good also. You must be flexable in your style because I am interested in making many variations of the style of my music. You need to have a good knowledge of at least 2 scales of different key signatures.
I am fluent with C Mixolydian, reasonably fluent with B Dorian, and I have just a little knowledge of maybe another scale or two besides them. Drummers need, I am going to say as much experience as I would require for guitarists. I need some good drumming. I am not a drummer but I have some good procussion ideas.
The guitarist would be mainly to do rhythm but also some lead is required. They have to be good at it too. I want a person who is good at the cello also. I might take a vocalist but not at the curent time because I don't really have any lyrics for my music. Sorry, singers are even more abundant than guitarists.
I also want someone who is good at the keyboard. They can do piano, that is what I want a keyboardist for, because I don't want to help carry a heavy wooden piano everywhere to practice. I know someone who got his leg broke when a piano fell on him because he was trying to move it.
I remind you that I try to be a serious musician, I don't make money from my music yet, and I do not play music to attract girls, it won't happen, so I don't tolerate other people doing it. Since it won't work for me, I won't let it work for other people, because they won't participate to let it work to get girls for me.
I am serious about making music that is a reflection of my thoughts and to challenge people to be intellectually stronger. Listen to Tranquility and some other stuff that I messed around to make. There are some types of music that I like doing, I have interest in doing a song that is like Mr. Mister's "Broken Wings", I like that stuff, John Parr's "Saint Elmo's fire (Man in motion)", and some other things like that that were good 80's songs. (Glory days of the 1980's).
I also like stuff like Bon Jovi did and naturally the skills of Richie Sambora the Bon Jovi guitarist. Van Halen was good, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Eddie Money's guitarists are the musical types that I like and am looking for. Actually, Rick Springfield had some good stuff also.
The 80's had good soundtrack songs for movies in the mid-80's, and also in the early 80's. For example the movie "One crazy summer" which was released some time around 1986, had a good song played during the credits at the end. It was "What does it take" by Honeymoon suite. I liked it when people did that stuff then.

NaugleFest audio page with my music.
Tranquility is a song demo recording that really shows what I can do just with my guitar and what I use to make my recordings with. So many of my recordings are made with computers that I built up.
This is about all I can think that I need at the time. If you want to join me in music making, then e-mail me here to let me know.
