There are some concerns about hidden messages in music. I recently found out about this in early March 2006 when I did a search on the internet for "playing music backwards" because a few days earlier I was listening to Coast to Coast AM and heard about how the Beetles had hidden messages in their music. I found that Led Zeppelin is a classic example of this, even another example.
As it goes from common interpretation of the reversed lyrics:
All yours, here's to my sweet satan, The one who's little path would make me sad, who's power is fake. He will give you, give you 666. There was a little toolshed where he made us suffer, sad satan.
I seriously doubt that this was simply coincidence, BECAUSE it is well known that Jimmy Page was very interested in Aleister Crowley AND Jimmy Page also did the soundtrack to Lucifer Rising, a movie that was directed by Kenneth Anger. I really doubt that with as much interest in the occult as Jimmy Page had, that these lyrics were just a coincidence.
I am wondering if hidden messages found when playing songs backwards are really just the real intentions of these people surfacing in the music. The reason for my theory about this is because when Britney Spears songs are played backwards, she says things like
Really, think about it, some of these lyrics actually rhyme with themselves. "The one who's little path would make me sad", is a good example of this. I don't see that this is an accident, the hidden message lyrics actually fit well with the beat of the music. Besides, it's you people that are usually talking about this Subconscious mind stuff and how it related to things.
I have actually listened to the ENTIRE Stairway to Heaven song backwards. It is wierd but interesting to listen to. Most of the lyrics sound like jibberish, BUT there are parts that DISTINCTLY MAKE SENSE. Most of them are listed below in audio clips. Now, Jimmy Page was very interested in Aleister Crowley and knowing about the "Book of the Law" that Aleister Crowley was responsible for, it is very possible that many of these "jibberish" sounding lyrics could actually be some of that Egyptian spell stuff manifesting in the lyrics of the song.
I don't feel that it is wise to underestimate the use of the occult. Stairway to Heaven, when played backwards, has much of a theatrical feeling in it's sound. It sounds very mystical and I do like to hear the sound of Jimmy Page's guitar work, specifically the leads and solos when played backwards.
Simply put, I believe that the music industry exists to create Pied Pipers who are used to manipulate and distract us.

My theory that I have developed while finding these hidden lyrics is that some are intentionally placed there. The other lyrics that were NOT intentionally put there, I believe that they are really there but they are the Subconscious mind placing things there. Basically thoughts of the Subconscious mind that are surfacing in the choice of the lyrics that the song writer thinks of choosing to write into a song.

I use CDex to rip songs from CDs and I use Audacity to reverse the audio in the file then convert it to MP3 so I can listen to it on my portable MP3 player. I do enjoy listening to music backwards, it is so I can figure out what is there. I'll listen to any music backwards if I think it will have some message. But the best results can be accomplished if you have the vocal track to the music. So you can listen to only the vocals and not have the music disrupting the process.

If you are angry because I have listed your music here without your permission, you need to understand that the public has a RIGHT TO KNOW what hidden information is in the music they are listening to. I elaborate my explaination by telling you this important information, that IT IS NOT MY FAULT THAT YOUR SONGS HAVE HIDDEN MESSAGES IN THEM.
It's not my fault that you couldn't keep lyrics out of your songs that you didn't want people to hear or know about. THAT MISTAKE WAS ON YOUR END of the lyrical composition. Don't get mad at me because I revealed your hidden messages, if you didn't want people to know then don't put them in there. Perhaps you will need to filter your lyrics before you release an album.
I understand that you may not want your music pirated, that is why I ONLY PROVIDED WHAT WAS NEEDED to reveal the hidden messages. If you still have a problem understanding the public's right to know what they are listening to, then I suggest that you talk to your reflection in the mirror for long periods of time and on a regular basis so you can understand yourself.
