This is my system as I built it up Saturday night January 24 2004/Sunday morning January 25 from parts that I had aquired since 2000. I stayed up all night until about 4:00AM working on it. I have had the motherboard and processor since spring 2001.

It has a 15 inch MAG 570FD FD Trinitron CRT monitor, ATI Xpert 128 (Rage 128 GL) 16MB AGP video card, Creative Labs SB PCI (CT-5880), 256MB PC133 SDRAM, Maxtor Maxblast 12.7GB ATA66 3.5" hard drive, AMD Athlon 850Mhz Thunderbird processor, Shuttle Ai61 slot-A motherboard, Iomega zip100 atapi drive, standard floppy, 36X CDROM, Micro optical scroll mouse, Micro$oft keyboard.

This is another picture of the same system but with a few things removed and changed.
Here is a picture to show my Athlon in my system and my ATI video card.
This is another picture of my system with another AMD Athlon processor. This one is not the processor that I have in my system, this one is the processor that someone gave me. This processor shown is a 550Mhz AMD Athlon K7 which is not a Thunderbird. The difference, the processor in use in my computer has 128KB L1 cache, 256KB full speed on-die L2 cache, 300Mhz faster speed, and a different color back plate.

I have been wanting to use this processor (AMD Athlon 850Mhz T-bird) since I first bought it in the spring of 2001. I never finished buying the parts needed to build another system. Because I have been working with more projects lately that demand processing power, I finally upgraded from my K6-2 to an Athlon T-bird.
